About THEKKUPURAM

Poochakkad Thekkupuram (Poochakkad south) also known as Cheriyapali (Small Mosque) is situated at Keekan Village, Pallikere Panchayath, Hosdurg Taluk, Kasaragod District.

In the north the place Poochakkad, South Chettukundu , in the east Ethamkotta or Keekan and in the west the Arabian sea.

Thongs this is a small locality Kasaragod- Kanhangad state highway and Railway line are passing throngs this placed. The place  is accessed by three panchayth roads.

 MOHIYADHEEN MOSQUE: It is also an old  Mosque , constructed years back, This is known asCHERIYAPALLI(Small Mosque) this is situated an the western side of Kanhangad – Kasaragod state highway and very  near of  Poochakkad Valiya Palli.

“Mohiyaddin Rathib” is celebrated  here on 29th  Rabiul Aqir. The Miladi Sharif (Birth day ofProphet Mohammed (S.A)-)  is also celebrated here in a befitting manner.

  MISBAHUL ULOOM MADRASA: It is the only one religious educational center functioning in the areas, under the control of Samastha Kerala Islamada Vidyabyasa Board. Ist standard to VIIth  standard classes are conducted.

 AL SEEB ARTS AND SPORTS CLUB: This is club is actively participating in the social and cultural activities  of the areas. The club conducts sports tournament Football and  Cricket.  The club is also participating various tournaments conducted in the neighboring areas.


SUBULU SSALAM SANGAM:

This is an associating of old students of Misbahul Uloom Madrasa. They are conducting religious classes and Library is also furneting  under them.
